Today’s show features a guest who graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering & Mechatronics. In 2009, he would then go on to complete his Masters of Business Administration (M.BA) at the University of Ballarat, Australia. He has worked in leadership positions within renowned companies such as Intel, Avago and Dell.

Presently, Mr. Davis is the Group CEO of Solarvest, an Asia-Pacific regional clean energy solutions provider operating in over 7 countries. Today, they have accumulated a renewable energy portfolio totaling over 1,200 Megawatts. They are currently exploring other clean energy innovations such as hydrogen and improved battery storage and more.

Datuk Ir. Chow Pui Hee is the group managing director of Samaiden Group Berhad. She graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia with a Honours Degree in Chemical Engineering. In addition she was elected as a member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) in 2014 and In 2016, she registered as a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.

Her organization, Samaiden is a publicly listed group that focuses on providing game-changing solutions in clean energy and environmental services to their clientele. Samaiden has been awarded solar power plant projects across Malaysia, so their reach is truly nationwide.

Mr Foong Chee Mun has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. He’s an engineering graduate in electrical engineering from Purdue University. He was the Vice President of Technology of Simulex, where he worked for 13 years. Then in 2013, he co-founded the company Moneylion Inc. where he served as their CTO for a decade. 

Presently, he is the Chief Product Officer at the YTL Sea Digital Bank Project. He’s also leading the YTL AI Labs Initiative where his focus lies on integrating AI into banking solutions.

Mr. JC Yap has over 26 years of experience in the automotive sector. He’s an engineering graduate in mechanical engineering from the University of Kentucky, USA. He began his long career as a manufacturing engineer for TRANE in the US, then he moved to Ford as a Brand Manager, before finally joining Mercedes-Benz. He’s been with Mercedes for 19 years now.

Presently, he is the Head of Sales for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, where he overlooks both ICE and EV sales operations for the brand. In October 2024, he was conferred a Graduate Directorship from ICDM following completion of the ADIP course, supported by Bursa Malaysia.

Mr. Khairul Anwar graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering & Economics in the United States, he then completed his MBA at the University of Malaya. He worked as an R&D Engineer at Motorola, before going on to found several companies involved in technology, productivity and workflow processes - including Aidan Corporation and Ardent Educational Consultants.

Currently, he is the Founder & CEO of Pandai Education Sdn. Bhd., which is a fast-growing EdTech Startup that helps students to learn. Pandai is an education app that helps students to improve their academic performance.

Mr Sim Ooi Kok is the country managing director for Alstom. Having spent over two decades in the railway industry as a Senior Engineer with Eurostar, Senior Project Manager with Scomi Rail Bhd., Head of Project Delivery at MyHSR Corporation and then previously as the COO of Sapura Technologies.

His organization, ALSTOM is a multinational organization rolling stock manufacturer with a worldwide presence in rail transport markets. Based out of France, Alstom is a leader in the fields of high speed passenger transportation, locomotives and signalling. They have a presence here via Alstom Transport Systems Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

Mr. Tee Tone Vei is Managing Director and CEO of the Intrix Group. Together with his team of engineers, Intrix has secured 19 internationally accredited patents. He is also the current Malaysia Chapter President of ASHRAE, and has previously chaired several expert committees within SIRIM and the Department of Standards, Malaysia.

Mr. Wing K. Lee possesses more than two decades of industry leadership experience and insights. An individual who is passionate about using technology to improve lives at scale. He and his team built the first and only All-4G, All-IP network in Malaysia at YTL Communications - which was then one of the youngest national operators.

Having spent over 17 years in the U.S leadership positions and spearheading so many firsts, fiber optics network, wireless data network and large-scale 4G networks. He was then awarded Asian-American Engineer of the Year in 2002.

He is now the CEO of YTL Communications (also known as Yes), which is a major mobile network operator here in Malaysia and the first to offer 5G services in Malaysia.
